Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my dog gets sick while boarding?
We will treat accordingly depending on your dog’s illness. If a dog has an upset stomach, we have medication we can administer. If a dog shows other concerning symptoms we will notify you immediately and get the dog to their veterinarian.
What should I bring when boarding my dog?
We make sure to provide everything your dog could possibly need when staying with us. However, if there is something you think would make your dog more comfortable during their stay please feel free to bring it. This includes beds, blankets, toys, treats, etc. Occasionally a dog will chew a bed or the laundry machine will break a zipper. Bones or antlers will be carried out to a yard and then forgotten as they play. Don’t bring anything that has a high sentimental value you would be afraid to lose. You do not need to bring food bowls, we will supply those.
Do you offer multiple dog discounts for boarding?
Yes. When boarding multiple dogs in the same run the second dog is 15% off for every night of boarding.
Do you offer discounts for boarding for an extended period of time?
Yes. For dogs boarding more than 10 days, the first 10 days will be charged at full price. Every day after that will be 10% off.
How many times will my dog get to go outside?
Dogs are let out every 2-4 hours depending on the weather. During inclement weather, dogs remain inside, only going out for short breaks. Everyday dogs go out for the first time at 6:30 AM and for the last time at 9:00 PM.
Can I come tour your facility?
Of course! All of us here at PRCK want you to feel comfortable leaving your pet with us. We all take great pride in our kennel. It is exceptionally clean, safe, and fun. You never need an appointment to tour our facility, but letting us know that you’re coming would be greatly appreciated.
What vaccinations do you require?
Bordetella, Rabies, and DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus).
Does my does have to be on a flea and tick preventative?
We are out in the country so flea and tick medicine is a must. Flea collars are allowed. If there is any question we can provide a Capstar treatment. We want to make sure our furry guests are comfortable and well cared for.
